The Evolution of Beauty

This Dove commercial was apparently quite famous at the time but I don't remember seeing it. Here they take us from model to billboard, shockingly revealing the hair & make-up that is done and the photoshop skills used. Quite unbelievable. (The gorgeous tune is by The Flashbulb).

Not usually a big fan of Lacoste but I am into this advert for Lacoste Red line. (Also noticed young Brazilian model Francisco Lachowski at the beginning.)

Gucci Flora by Chris Cunningham

I have always been a fan of Chris Cunningham's music videos for Aphex Twin and Bjork and I also have a soft spot for Gucci adverts of late. So Cunningham directing the new Gucci Flora advert was the perfect marriage in my eyes if not somewhat unexpected.  

Though still in the beautiful tradition of the Italian fashion house, the footage was distinctly Cunningham with a mesmerizing display synced to an updated version of Donna Summer's 'I feel love'. 

TMobile advert in Liverpool Street Station, London

I know we'll probably see loads of this but I had to post it. Apparently they really did film this just a few days ago with real commuters around but they filmed it every 20 minutes. Life's for sharing! Enjoy!
