Cheryl on Vogue.

Yesterday I received my very first subscribed issue of Vogue through the door complete with 'The Ultimate Catwalk Report' sponsored by Topshop (I love this time of year, it's so exciting to find out what to keep an eye out for - more blogging needed on this as there is loads) and Cheryl Cole on the cover.

Who would have imagined a year ago that a member of Girls Aloud might one day grace the cover of Vogue? I wouldn't be surprised if one day she is on American Vogue's cover as apparently she's made a bit of an impression over there too. Whoever her stylist is, keep doing what you're doing because Cheryl says "clothes don't really interest her that much"!

Watch her photoshoot here. Some girls have all the luck...

New Audi 'Unbox the box' advert.

How good is the new Audi advert?! I heart audi.

New coat.

I got myself a new coat yesterday. I wanted it ages ago in Topshop but was a bit tight on money but yesterday I saw they had one left that just so happened to be my size and was reduced to £25. How could I refuse? Especially since I get my 25% off on top of that. So here I took a picture of me wearing it before I headed to work today. I love the shape of the sleeves and the unusual colour for a coat.

I share clothes with Behati! Kind of...

Ooh I spotted a picture of model Behati Prinsloo wearing a tartan lumberjack style hoodie after a fashion show. I also own this. I got it in Urban Outfitters a few years back. Here I am wearing it at an art exhibition opening at uni.

Male model Guntars Asmanis

Guntars is a 20 year old model from Latvia who keeps popping up all over the catwalk (YSL, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Aquascutum, Topman to name a few) and I have recently fallen in love with him.

Apparently he hates modeling and plans to quit after he's made his first million! I hope that isn't so because with all the campaigns he is doing (Hugo Boss, Acne Jeans, Issey Miyake), that might be soon.

Mystery catwalk show...

Years ago I cut this image out of a magazine. I remember reading that guests sat at a long white dining table which was then cleared for models to walk down as a runway. I love the chandeliers and the reflected delicacy of the clothing (very appropriate for the upcoming trends for Spring Summer '09).
The only problem is I cut out the image and don't remember whose show this was. If anyone knows let me know because I have searched all over the internet for this.

Sam Riley in my paper.

My favourite new model, actor and singer Sam Riley (see my previous post) turned up in the TV supplement of the Scottish Mail on Sunday. Here he is dressed in Burberry for this photoshoot since he did the Burberry A/W '08 campaign.

End of a High street era.

The Woolworths chain, which would be turning 100 years old this year will be officially closed as of tomorrow. It's really sad to think that a company that has had such a presence on our high streets for so long, now can't compete with the behemoth Supermarkets.

I used to beg my mum for a pick & mix whilst she wandered round the isles of home wear, music and children's clothes.

Turns out Woolworths used to do an adult fashion line too! These models wear swimwear from the Summer 1980 collection.

Farewell Woolworthes and the best of luck to all their employees. I wonder which giant retail chains might be next...

Merry Christmas one and all!

Well I was hoping for snow but apart from that today has been pretty lovely. I am officially spoilt rotten.

Here are some of my favourite gifts:

My sister subscribed me to Vogue!!

I received this silver jumper which I have been wearing out as a dress.

Got this lovely little black lace top.

I also got some gorgeous lingerie I had picked out myself a while back but forgot all about. It caught my eye because of the pleating and delicacy of it and I thought it made a change from black underwear. I love the little silk padded hangers that came with it.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I'm looking forward to the New Year and wish everybody the best of joy.

Shock horror! It's Agy!

Oh my goodness! I saw this on another blog.
Check out Agyness Deyn done up like Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Korean Vogue! I didn't know who it was at first.
